4月16日，天气晴朗，游中山陵。一路上，绿树成荫，阳光透过夹道的法国梧桐，明亮而干净，令人心中春意顿生。中山陵位于钟山上，安息着“国父”孙中山。孙中山先生是我所敬仰的人，“博爱”“天下为公”正是他一生的写照。

17日游南京雨花台和莫愁湖时，烟雨迷朦，最是应景，18日游扬州瘦西湖时又天公作美，大放异晴！ 钱闲有限，我去过的地方不多，游瘦西湖时，我对小缪说：瘦西湖是我到目前去过的最美的公园。流连于瘦西湖，百花盛开，柳絮含香，熏风拂面，湖光水色中，我不禁想“但愿此生常作扬州人”！

个园，中国四大名园之一，清嘉庆年间两淮盐总黄至筠于明代寿芝园旧址重建。园主“性爱竹”，清代袁枚有“月映竹成千个字”之句，故名。个园以竹石为主体，以分峰用石为特色。其最负盛名者乃四季假山：春山笋石参差，修篁弄影；夏山中空外奇，泞潭清冽；秋山黄石丹枫，峻峭依云；冬山宣石似积雪未消。南墙设风洞，有朔风之声，而西墙漏窗却又远远招来春色。

西湖，古今赞美的诗词太多了，最著名的应是“若把西湖比西子，浓妆淡抹总相宜”了。

这次旅行，总是一天阴雨一天晴。22日，春雨绵绵，下了一整天。云梦去上海了，其他旅伴去购丝绸，我独自留在旅馆等雨停。傍晚5点，看雨实在不肯停了，只好撑伞烟雨游西湖，沿湖边走了一个多小时。

23日，阳光明媚，穿着单衣却也有丝丝寒意。沿湖边走，乘游船到湖心岛“小瀛洲（三潭印月）”，再乘船上岸，游雷峰塔，坐车去九溪，脚踏乾隆走过的“御道”去龙井村。

一雨一晴，总算将浓妆淡抹的西湖美景尽收眼底了。
